Be Prepared Worth Your Fight
Due to the magnitude of storms this year, forecasts projected that Don Pedro Reservoir would exceed its maximum capacity of 830 feet. The Controlled Spillway Gate at Don Pedro was opened on February 20, which caused the Tuolumne River water level to rise quickly.

To ensure safety, MID has de-energized power lines along the Tuolumne River. MID will continue to monitor and re-evaluate restoration timelines based on current and forecasted Tuolumne River levels. Power will be restored when it's safe to do so. More information is available here.
