Third Party Notification Program

for Seniors and Dependant Adults

Third-Party Notification can help Seniors age 65 or older and a dependent adults who may overlook paying her or his MID bill.

Seniors or dependant adults can choose a friend or family member they trust. By completing the application, they give MID permission to contact the person of their choice if their electric bill goes unpaid. This reduces the chance that power will be turned off because of an accidentally missed payment. The information given to MID is confidential.
