Used refrigerators and freezers should never go to landfills. That’s why MID is partnering with JACO Environmental, an industrial recycling specialist that recycles approximately 90 percent of each refrigerator and freezer it receives.

Refrigerators and freezers contain useful, recyclable metals, plastics and glass. But they also hide Freon™, foam insulation and compressor oils that may be contaminated with chemicals considered hazardous wastes. JACO safely removes and either stores or destroys any hazardous or toxic substances.
