Discounts available: qualified low-income customers, medical
life support and STEP -
a program for customers with central air conditioning. Services: a
free energy survey, summary bills, payment options, Third
Party Notification Program and dusk-to-dawn lighting.
Rebates
The MID rebate program encourages energy
efficiency through rebates for sunscreens/window
film, high efficiency air
conditioners, and whole house fans. Please
read all program qualifications before you
purchase a product.
Save Energy
Saving energy gets easier thanks to MID . Free
energy surveys are available to MID customers.

Rates and Electric Service Rules
Modesto Irrigation District Electric Rate Schedules and Electric Service Rules are
posted for informational purposes. MID endeavors to keep the rates current, but the
tariffs on file with the Board Secretary contain the current and applicable rates. If you
have a question about rates, please contact Customer Service at (209) 526-7373 or
Energy Services at (209) 526-7339 or (800) 304-5373. If you are remodeling or building, check

Power Problems
MID has a good track record when it comes to keeping on the lights. But you do need to
be prepared for power outages. MID can help you prepare for power outages and
rotating outages.
