Staff reports
Don Pedro Board of Control
Report
- Water Use
Manager Joe Lima reported that the Board approved Forever Resorts small boat
rental fee adjustments. These adjustments make Don Pedro Lake small boat fees
comparable with other resorts.
- As of
January, there were 426 campsite reservations. Reservations are down from last
year, but this is likely a result of the recent wet weather.
- There are
52 fishing tournaments scheduled for Don Pedro Lake this year.
Water
report
- Walt Ward,
Assistant General Manager for Water Operations, stated that to date this
season, we have had 20 days of recordable rainfall. The season rainfall total
is at 10.71 inches.
- Snowpack
levels are trending at 70 to 94 percent.
- The 2008
landowner meetings will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 3 in Waterford at the Waterford Community Center and on Wednesday, March 5 at the MID downtown
office in Modesto. MID staff will review hydrologic conditions and water
supply, water delivery policy, water quality issues and irrigation system
improvements.

the State Land Commission to cross the San Joaquin and Tuolumne rivers with the
Westley Rosemore Transmission Line.
- Award of a
contract to System 3 to construct a substation at the Modesto Regional Water
Treatment Plant (MRWTP). The new substation is to provide necessary service
and service reliability for the expansion of the MRWTP as well as support the
steady growth in Waterford.

of a policy and procedure for placing items requested by members of the public
and the Board on the Board Agenda.
- Affirmation
