A convenience fee of $3.50 for residential and $13.95 for small commercial accounts is charged by Western Union for all forms of payment through this payment option. This convenience fee is not charged or collected by MID.

Payments made online prior to 5pm will be posted to your account the next business day.

Five tips to help you stay cool

1. Set your air conditioner at 78° when you’re home, 85° when you’re away.

2. Change or clean your air conditioner filter each month, or as needed.

3. A circulating fan (ceiling or floor) will help you feel cooler.

4. Pre-cool your home in the early morning or late at night by opening windows or using a whole house fan.

5. Use major appliances only after 8 p.m.
