21.1 Positive Discipline
The Modesto Irrigation District developed a Positive
Discipline approach to assist employees in managing
their performance
and behavior. The complete Positive Discipline policy
and program procedures and guidelines are listed in the
Employee
Handbook Section B12. Positive Discipline recognizes
good performance and assures fair treatment of employees
when
problems arise with job performance. The focus of Positive
Discipline is to help employees succeed in doing his
or her job well.
