| Title 22 - Miscellaneous Provisions
22.1 District Housing
The rent for each District house where employees are
residing shall be $100 per month effective December 1,
2000. The rent
for each District house shall be adjusted annually on December
1 of each year during the term of this MOU based on the
change to the Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers’ Consumer
Price Index, U.S. Coty Average for October of that year.
22.2 Positive Discipline
The Modesto Irrigation District and Union have jointly
developed a Positive Discipline approach to assist
employees in managing
their performance and behavior. The complete Positive
Discipline policy and program procedures and guidelines
are listed
in the Employee Handbook Section. Positive Discipline
recognizes good performance and assures fair treatment
of employees
when problems arise with job performance. The focus
of Positive
Discipline is to help employees succeed in doing his
or her job well.
