What are the most important
things to know about the application?
- MID accepts employment applications ONLY
for current job openings.
- Fill it out completely.
- Each application must
include your original signature.
If you don’t
sign it, the application won’t be processed.
What do I do with a completed, signed application?

Will you accept an application for a job that is not now open?
- No. MID accepts employment applications
only for current job openings.
Why can't an application
be faxed or e-mailed to mid?
- MID's application process requires
an original signature.
Is a separate application required for each position applied for?
- Yes. Each position applied for requires a separate
MID application.
Is there a specific number of applications
MID will accept for any posted job?
- No. Recruitments
can close at any time depending upon the number
of qualified applicants.
Are written examinations required for all advertised
positions?
- Not all jobs require a job-related examination.
When an exam is required, the job announcement
includes that information. Qualified
applicants are notified of the exam time and
date.
After a written examination is given, how do
I learn about the results?
- Contact HR by calling 209-526-7341, 3-7 business
days after taking the test.

How often are Job Openings advertised?
- MID begins recruiting applicants for a position
only when a job is available.
Do you accept applications when there are no
job openings?
- No. When we receive an unsolicited
application and/or resume, the document(s)
are immediately returned to the applicant via
US Mail.
If I have submitted an application for another
job within the year, will you contact me when
a job opens?
- No. Each job posting requires a separate completed
MID application.
Are resumes accepted instead of an application?
- No. You must complete an application for each
job opening. You may attach a resume to the application
if you wish.
