Board of Directors
The five directors of the MID Board set policy
for the District at board meetings. Check out
their biographies and Division
maps:
Registered voters
within each division elect a director for
a four-year
term of office. To contact a director, call
the Board Secretary at (209) 526-7360 or send
an e-mail.
Meeting schedule
The Board meets at
least once a month on the second Tuesday of
the month. Other meetings may be scheduled during
the month. Board meetings are typically held
at 9 a.m. at the District's downtown office,
1231 11th Street, Modesto. Contact the Board
Secretary's office, 209-526-7360, for meeting

Get an agenda
An agenda is prepared the Friday before each
meeting. It is posted online and the Public Information
Bulletin Board outside of the Board Room lobby.
At a Board meeting
Board meetings begin with a call to order by
the Board President.
The first items of business are: roll call of
directors present, correspondence as presented
by the Board Secretary, consent items and public
comment.
A period for public presentation of items not
on the agenda will be called by the Board President.
To participate you can:
- Contact the Board Secretary in advance of
the meeting so you can be placed on the agenda
to formally present your views;
- Contact the Board Secretary when you enter
the Board Room;
- Indicate your intent to the Board President
when the time for public presentation is opened.
Once recognized by the Board President, approach
the podium and state your name and address.
If you wish to speak on an agenda item, wait
until that item is presented. Once it has been
presented,
the Board President will call for public comments.
You can then approach the podium to your left.
State your name and address for the record. Use
a microphone for all questions and comments.
Board
meetings are recorded for minute purposes.
Board Report
A report on the most recent Board meeting is
typically posted the day after the meeting. Upcoming
dates of Board meetings are also listed.
