MID moving electrical lines in Bridle Ridge subdivision
Some homes built by Lafferty Homes and Lakemont Homes in the Bridle Ridge development in Oakdale have underground utilities located outside of the Public Utility Easement (PUE). MID must move these lines to provide you with highly reliable electric service.
Is my home affected?
Only 38 homes (out of about 800 in the Bridle Ridge development) are affected. Affected customers will receive a certified letter and information packet from MID. If you receive this packet, then MID will be moving electrical lines near your home. A MID representative will also visit affected residents. For details about the area, see map. Only certain homes on the following streets are affected:
- Parkside Way
- Vintage Circle
- Hudson Avenue
- Haven Street
- Branding Iron Street
- Ranger Street
- Alamo Court
Safety
The electrical lines are safely housed in conduit (pipe that holds utility lines). We can assure you that this is not a safety issue for you or your family.
Timing
MID will be moving these electrical lines in the next two to four months.
