Irrigation District (MID) held its initial meeting. There were definite
challenges: no money, no organization, no experience. The directors
had only a vision – and a group of opponents bent on destroying
the fledgling agency before it even got rolling.
Undaunted, MID slowly overcame one obstacle, then another."
